A father sells his child for five thousand dollars in an unbelievable incident
On Saturday, the Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency in the Iraqi Ministry of Interior announced that it had thwarted the sale of a child by his parents for $5 in Baghdad.
In the details of the operation, the intelligence agency said in a statement that accurate intelligence information enabled the agency to set up a tight ambush that resulted in the arrest of the father, who offered his son for sale on social media for an amount of $5.
The agency stated that the father claimed, before bringing him to Baghdad, that the child was not his son, but rather he had deliberately bought him for $4.
The statement indicated that "the arrest was flagrante delicto, his statements were recorded and he was imprisoned, while the judge decided to place the child in one of the children's care homes."
