Elie Saab brings Spain to Paris with a collection of the most beautiful designers

Elie Saab returns, as usual, with a wonderful, innovative, elegant, and luxurious collection

The famous La Pedrera building, located in the Spanish city of Barcelona, was the main inspiration for the designer Elie Saab's couture collection for the upcoming fall and winter, which he presented yesterday, Wednesday, as part of the activities of Paris Fashion Week.
Built at the turn of the last century and signed by the architect Antonio Gaudi, this building is distinguished by its undulating stone facades and wrought-iron balconies, embodying the intimate relationship between light and shade. Saab has invoked all these elements to decorate his luxurious clothes with geometrical touches that added an innovative artistic character to it.

61 looks included in Saab's show entitled "Lights and Shadows", which opened with a group of black looks decorated with embroidery and luxurious handicrafts. It was followed in the second section of the show by a group of long dresses colored with gradations of precious stones, while the third section of it was dominated by neutral gradations, most notably nude beige and light gray.
Leaves and metallic ornaments wrap around the crystal and pearl looks. The designer used exclusive prints, special embroideries, and luxurious fabrics such as brocade and gazar, without abandoning the delicateness of lace and tulle, which he is keen to use in his various collections.
Saab relied heavily on the game of transparency, and used light to play a major role in enhancing the ethereal transparency that softly seeped through layers of different fabrics and drooping sizes.
A classy festive atmosphere accompanied all the looks, which varied between formal suits, frilled jackets, long coats, short gowns defined by thin belts and evening dresses executed in rich, shiny fabrics. The wedding dress with its sugar color and innovative veil concluded the show and made Elie Saab's bride a crowned queen on the throne of elegance.
