Yesterday (Thursday), the "Live Without Borders" tournament, which is part of the largest global charitable event in e-sports "Players Without Borders", which is being held by the Kingdom for the second year in a row, was announced in early June. The event will witness the participation of a group of stars and celebrities in art, football, esports and social media; Where the list includes an elite, most notably Muhammad Henedy, Omar Al-Soma, Musaed Al-Dossary, Mr. FIFA, Osms, and Hisham Al-Huwaish.
For its part, the General Entertainment Authority confirmed its keenness to renew the partnership with the Saudi Federation for Electronic Sports, through the "Live Without Borders" tournament, which comes as an extension of previous partnerships, as the two parties had previously cooperated in many initiatives and events that combined entertainment, sports and community service, to include Now through the “Players Without Borders” initiative, charitable work by combating the spread of the new Corona virus.
The tournament consists of 16 FIFA21 tournaments. Each tournament will bear the name of a celebrity in the Arab world, as each tournament includes 1024 people, and will last for 4 days, in order to determine one champion for each tournament. After the end of all tournaments, a tournament will be scheduled for 16 teams, and each team will consist of a celebrity, along with the champion of the tournament, which bears the name of the famous sponsor of the tournament in the elimination rounds, and it will be broadcast on “Players Without Borders” channels.
And “Players Without Borders” is the largest charitable event for sports and electronic games in the world, as it links the world of electronic games with the most pressing humanitarian issues, such as the ongoing fight against the spread of the “Covid 19” virus. The second edition of “Players Without Borders” will be held in the virtual world, and will last for 6 weeks, and will host a selection of e-sports players through many competitions that include the best and most popular games, to be broadcast live in several languages ​​to the audience of these games around the world. The winners of the elite competitions will donate $10 million to be distributed to international charitable organizations that support the most needy communities by distributing the vaccine.
The Saudi Federation for Electronic Sports organizes “Players Without Borders” events, which is a great event for sports and electronic games that includes hundreds of community tournaments in a group of the most prominent games, in addition to entertainment events, concerts and interactive gaming content, in addition to the most famous personalities in the field of electronic games around the world. This mega event will provide a series of free training programs available to all, targeting those wishing to start a new career in the field of electronic games.
