Spanish police reveal the cause of the death of the former Qatari princess in Spain

Spanish police suspect that the death of the 45-year-old former Qatari princess Casia Galeano, whose body was found in an apartment in the resort of Marbella, was an overdose of drugs.

According to police sources, quoted by the newspaper,Le ParisienIn French, Galeano’s body did not show any signs of violence, which made the security forces suspect an overdose of drugs, “but the police are still waiting for the results of the autopsy,” according to the French newspaper.

Galeano was the third wife of Abdulaziz bin Khalifa Al Thani (73 years old), who lives in France and is the uncle of the current Emir of Qatar.

Spanish police found Galeño dead on Sunday morning in her apartment in Marbella, Malaga province.

The police went to the house after receiving a call from one of Galeano's daughters in France, in which she said that her mother was not answering phone calls.

The police entered the house with the help of the condominium guard, and found Galeano in her bed, and she showed no signs of violence, according to the spokeswoman, who spoke on condition of anonymity.
