No one disputes the importance of eggs as a source of protein. Russian nutritionist Alexandra Razarinova said that eggs are part of the diet of many, and eating 5-6 eggs per week is a good addition to other proteins.

She indicated that chicken eggs contain protein ideal for digestion, as well as calcium, phosphorous, lecithin and vitamin D, but she preferred not to eat more than 3 eggs per day, according to what was reported by Radio "Sputnik".

She also explained, “A healthy person can eat 2-3 eggs per day, and egg whites more. In theory, a person can eat more than that per day, but I think that eating 5-6 eggs per week is a good addition to other proteins that the body gets from meat, fish, poultry and seafood.”

She cautioned people with chronic diseases of the digestive system, people with a predisposition to cardiovascular diseases and obesity to eat one egg a day three to four times a week.

While she warned that excessive eating of eggs leads to allergic reactions and disruption of the work of the digestive system.

It also stressed the preservation of eggs at a temperature from zero to 20 degrees Celsius for a period of 25 days. And 90 days at a temperature from minus 2 to zero, stressing the need to wash eggs before using them, and not after buying them directly.
