The last day of Arab Fashion Week culminated with stunning fashion shows from Ingie Paris, Marchesa and Antonio Maras

The fourth edition of Arab Fashion Week in Dubai culminated on its last day with three stunning shows by world-renowned fashion designers, Ingie Paris, Marchesa and Antonio Maras, who presented their ready-to-wear creations.

The day began with one of the region's style icons and trendsetters, Ingie Chalhoub, who presented her Fall/Winter 2017-2018 collection for her eponymous brand, Ingie Paris. Inspired by the union of Arab tradition and Parisian elegance, the collection features romantic designs with a touch of late-XNUMXs sophistication. Models strutted down the runway in floor-length skirts, silk shirts with over-sized butterfly ties, floral jacquard dresses with ruffle details and metallic evening dresses. The season's palette is dark, yet attractive, featuring shades of Parisian zinc, bronze, navy, amaranth and cream. Each piece is decorated with pins inlaid with hand-embroidered pearls and clusters of crystals inspired by the ancient style, adding a sense of luxury and refined charm.

British fashion designer Georgina Chapman transported viewers into a world of fantasy with a dreamy collection of ready-to-wear and evening gowns as part of Marchesa's second fashion show at Arab Fashion Week. Luxuriously feathered dresses with intricate beading and fringe detailing, silk and velvet cocktail dresses with elegant butterfly ties and delicate bridal gowns with layers of tulle and delicate lace. The collection included not only wedding dresses in classic cream and white, but also an assortment of dresses in rich shades of red, elegant black, indigo and vivid green.

As the last day of the fourth season of Arab Fashion Week drew to a close, the excitement remained ablaze as the top fashionable crowd awaited the international guests, and in hot waters, the final show from one of Italy's most famous fashion designers, Antonio Maras. At his first show in the Middle East, his lively collection, Resort 18, stunned the audience. The collection drew visual cues from the image of the brave, independent woman in the hit movie Gone with the Wind, Scarlett O'Hara, and resulted in a series in blue, magenta, silver, yellow and black colors of dresses, coats, and dresses. Outerwear, hooded coats and skirts in brocade and lace, enriched with brooches and floral embroidery. This rich and unstructured effect was complemented by the inclusion of a small selection of men's suits enriched by ruffled shirts, floral prints and tailoring details.

The official conclusion of Arab Fashion Week with the presentation of the Resort 18 fashion collection by Antonio Maras, a select group of VIPs gathered with global leaders in the industry at Armani Hotel for the annual Arab Fashion Week Awards Gala. At this glamorous red carpet event organized by the Arab Fashion Council, local pioneers in the fashion world were honored and their latest achievements celebrated.

In the fourth edition of Arab Fashion Week, a total of 23 fashion shows and more than 50 international and local designers were presented. The five-day event attracted more than 16,000 visitors and is expected to take place again at the end of this year. The event is organized by the Arab Fashion Council, the largest non-profit fashion organization in the world representing the 22 Arab countries joining the League of Arab States, and chaired by His Excellency Mario Boselli, Honorary President of the National Chamber of Italian Fashion, the official organizers of Milan Fashion Week.
