Leaked video of Naira Ashraf's corpse from inside the mortuary sparks anger and controversy

On Wednesday, the Egyptian authorities opened an urgent investigation into the incident of leaking a video of Naira Ashraf's body in the morgue, as the video was widely circulated on social media.

The pioneers of the communication sites circulated a painful and shocking video of the body of Naira Ashraf, a student of Mansoura, who was slaughtered by her colleague Muhammad Adel, where the body of the girl appeared moments after the accident, with traces of blood that covered all her clothes.

For its part, Naira's family announced that it had taken all legal measures against the leaker of the video, as it submitted an official report to the Public Prosecutor.

She said that the spread of the video shocked the family members as a result of watching the representation of their daughter's body and revealing her nakedness.

The Mansoura Criminal Court had upheld the death sentence against the killer on charges of premeditated murder.
