Tom Hanks and his wife recover from Corona and return to Los Angeles

American actor Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson returned to Los Angeles, Friday, after spending more than two weeks in quarantine in Australia, after tests confirmed their injury Corona virus.

The star of the films "Forrest Gump" and "Toy Story" and his wife were photographed smiling as they got into a car in the city.

TMZ, a celebrity news website, said the photos were taken shortly after the couple landed at an airport in Los Angeles. The New York Post's Page Six, which deals with celebrity news, said Hanks was seen dancing after landing from a private plane.

Hanks, who won two Oscars and is one of the most popular stars in the United States, and his wife Wilson were among the first major celebrities to announce that they had contracted the Corona virus, which turned into a pandemic that claimed the lives of 27 people around the world.

Hanks and his wife were treated in a hospital in Australia and isolated themselves for an additional period after leaving the hospital.

Hanks was in Australia to shoot a movie about Elvis Presley when he announced on March 11 that he and his wife had contracted the Corona virus. Filming on the movie has since been halted, as have hundreds of other films and TV shows around the world.
