The Saudi Media Forum launched its second session in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.

Under the title: “Media in a Shaping World,” it opened its activities themed session

“The New Media Generation: Variables and Opportunities”, with the participation of Saudi leaders and a group of Arab and international experts and analysts.

The most prominent of them was Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman Al Saud, the Saudi Minister of Energy.

The forum stressed the importance of the role of new digital media mechanisms that must be activated in human societies.

With encouragement to promote the values ​​of tolerance and openness with respect for the other and non-exclusion, and to discuss efforts to develop the media industry in all its sectors.

Sessions of the Saudi Media Forum

Based on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's possession of major media institutions,

The forum launched an integrated program for exchanging visions and discussions on the development of the media scene and the challenges facing the new media generation. The opening of the forum included holding several fruitful sessions with the participation of the attendees.

The most prominent of which was a session with women leaders entitled “Empowering Women Leaders, Integration Shaping,” and another on “Making Content and Exporting Saudi Creativity.”

The events continued with sessions on sporting events and a discussion of the causes of cyberbullying and ways to reduce it.

And the content industry through the world of metaverse, and other sessions that led to fruitful discussions, to learn about the developments of the sector and the challenges facing it.

The Saudi Media Forum included the exhibition of the architecture of the Two Holy Mosques.

Which embraced a group of historical and archaeological holdings of the Holy Kaaba, and the forum recorded a remarkable attendance on its first day, as more than 1500 Arab and international journalists, local and international officials participated in its second session.

They met to discuss media and communication issues, most notably Professor Abdullah Al-Fawzan, Vice President and Secretary General of the King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue, who spoke about the importance of the Saudi Media Forum for media development.
