Six cosmetic uses of Aloe Vera

Aloe vera is considered a versatile plant in the cosmetic field, and the most prominent evidence of this is these uncommon uses of this plant in the field of skin care.

The use of aloe vera in the cosmetic field is very old, as the Egyptians, Greeks and Romans knew it in ancient times. This plant is rich in vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B6, B9, B12, C, and E. It also contains minerals such as calcium, phosphorus, potassium, iron, sodium, magnesium, chlorine, manganese, copper, and chromium. When consuming aloe vera, it is possible to benefit from enzymes rich in biochemical stimuli, as it contains sugars that activate the immune system, and amino acids that take the form of proteins that provide energy and regulate the chemical balance in tissues. Aloe Vera gel, which is packed in containers by cosmetic laboratories to be ready for use, can be used in this field, or it can be obtained directly from the leaves of this plant.

To treat skin irritation:

Aloe vera gel not only treats sunburns that affect the skin, but it is also able to treat irritation and annoying itching. It is sufficient to take an aloe vera leaf and gently cut it vertically into two halves to be able to extract the gel contained in it, provided that it is applied directly to the itchy or sunburned area. The results in this field are immediate, as this gel will soothe the affected area and moisturize it in depth

To get rid of zoans:

It is very easy to prepare a natural anti-aging mask (or blackheads), it is sufficient to mix a teaspoon of activated charcoal powder (you can find it in pharmacies) with a tablespoon of aloe vera gel. This mixture is applied with a brush to the area where the hair usually appears (forehead, nose, chin) and then left for 15 minutes before rinsing it with fresh water. This mask can be used twice a week to get rid of ziwan.

For clear skin:

To purify the skin from the inside, prepare an invigorating morning drink based on aloe vera juice. It is sufficient to add the juice of half a lemon and a teaspoon of aloe vera gel to a cup of hot water, then mix the ingredients well and drink the mixture immediately. It is recommended to drink this drink several times a week to enhance the radiance of the skin.

Shaving gel:

Aloe vera gel can be turned into a shaving lotion. It is sufficient to apply it to the areas of the body that have excess hair before running the razor over them. The moisturizing properties of this gel will make it easier for the razor to glide over the skin and protect it from cuts. This gel can also be applied to the skin of the body after shaving to deeply nourish and moisturize it.

For dry hair care:

For the care of dry and lifeless hair, it is recommended to apply aloe vera gel as a mask on the locks of hair and leave it for about half an hour before rinsing it well with water. The result in this case is immediate in terms of deeply moisturizing the hair and enhancing its shine. This mask can be used once a week to maintain the vitality of the hair.
