Van Gogh's Living Paintings, in Dubai and Abu Dhabi

Under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and Community Development, the UAE will host the world-famous “Van Gogh: Living Paintings” exhibition, which represents an integrated multi-media sensory experience, and will continue for up to three months during the current year.

6IX Degrees Entertainment, which specializes in organizing events and entertainment activities in Dubai, offers this unique experience in the UAE, where the “Van Gogh: Living Paintings” experience combines the finest selected classical music with a selection of paintings by the famous painter, in addition to More than 3 thousand photos. A collection of the artist's paintings will be displayed alongside inspiring images on the walls, floors and ceiling of the gallery, using 40 high-resolution image projectors.

The exceptional visitor experience includes a unique blend of lights, colors and sounds, while displaying famous artworks, which are displayed collectively, as they are divided into multiple parts or enlarged to larger sizes.

The carefully selected compositions also attract art lovers, who will delve into the stunning details and bright colors of Van Gogh's paintings, revealing the meanings and ideas contained in the artworks created by the famous artist.

The "Van Gogh: Living Paintings" experience will visit Abu Dhabi and Dubai, where a six-week exhibition is taking place, expected to be one of the most prominent cultural events of the year.

The Abu Dhabi National Theater will host this experience from January 14 to February 26, 2018, after which it will move to Dubai, where the exhibition will be held in the Dubai Design District from March 11 to April 23, 2018.

Dutch artist Van Gogh was born on March 30, 1853, and is considered one of the most influential and well-known figures in art history. He had created more than 2000 works of art, including 860 oil paintings, before his death on July 29, 1890.

Although van Gogh's work has been available in galleries around the world for more than 100 years, this is the first time that the works have been shown in this unique style.

The exhibition “Van Gogh: Living Paintings” is more than a distinctive experience of the work of the famous Dutch painter, it offers a complete sensory, multimedia experience, a departure from traditional methods and often through silent exhibitions, sometimes unnerving.
