Mark admits to the Facebook scandal, and the application faces a loss of billions

After the British House of Commons requested Zuckerberg to appear before him, German Justice Minister Katharina Barley asked to speak to Facebook executives to find out whether the site's 30 million users in her country had been affected by what she described as a "scandal" of exploiting users' personal data.

It called for data protection to be regulated at the level of Europe and not by individual national governments.
Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg broke his silence after the scandal of the famous site leaking the data of 50 million of its users to a research company that in turn used this data for the benefit of US President Donald Trump's campaign in the 2016 elections.
Mark Zuckerberg said in a statement via Facebook that he bears responsibility for the breach of users' data, stressing that everything necessary is done to avoid such errors in the future and protect the user.
Mark added that all applications connected with Facebook will be investigated, and the accounts of any application should be reviewed, even if it is related to the incident, stressing that application developers' access to user data will be restricted to prevent incidents of this kind in the future.
And the director of Facebook announced a new feature that allows the user to see who is trying to access his personal data and prevent him from doing so.
The movement to “delete Facebook” is growing steadily on the Internet, due to the scandal that “Cambridge Analytica” obtained information about 50 million Facebook users without their knowledge. The famous network lost more than 50 billion dollars of its market value during this week, according to the website of the American network CNN.
