A week after the court ordered his home to be demolished, Gigi and Bella Hadid's father declared bankruptcy in court.

Reports stated that the neighbors had previously submitted several complaints and expressed their fears about that house, due to its huge size that is not suitable for the shapes of the buildings in the neighborhood.

Hadid's architect also pointed out that the foundations of the house were not sufficiently laid in the ground, and said, "For me, this case is clearly in need of a demolition decision."

The court ruling stipulated that Muhammad Hadid pay 5 million dollars to demolish his house, and Hadid claimed that he did not have the money to pay.
