Saudi Al-Nasr Club announces its contract with Ronaldo

And the Saudi Al-Nasr club is nicknamed, by its fans and lovers, as “Al-Alamy”, in addition to “Al-Qari”, “Persian Najd”, and “The Sun”.

And this comes at a time when press reports confirmed, yesterday, Thursday, that Al-Nasr Club has already settled the contract with the star Cristiano Ronaldo, and the official signature remains.

The Spanish newspaper Marca revealed a big surprise in the details of Al-Nasr’s contract deal with Ronaldo, stressing that Ronaldo’s contract with Al-Nasr will extend until 2030, two and a half years of which as a player, and the rest as ambassador of the Kingdom’s nomination with Egypt and Greece to organize the 2030 World Cup.

“Marca” clarified the stages of negotiations between the two parties, as Al-Nasr presented its tempting offer on November 23, and the agreement began on December 5, before announcing that Cristiano Ronaldo had already decided to play for two and a half years in Saudi Arabia.

The agreement also included that Al-Nasr drop 3 foreign professionals from its list to avoid any breach of financial spending, and both Argentine Betty Martinez and Uzbek Jalaluddin Masharibov will be at the top of the departures from Al-Nasr list.

And the newspaper revealed that, although Ronaldo was aware of the agreement, he requested a time margin before the official signing.

For its part, the Spanish newspaper “AS” said that Ronaldo will play in the ranks of Al-Nassr until the summer of 2025, which was confirmed by sources from Al-Nassr, and they admitted for the first time in weeks that the deal had already taken place.

The newspaper pointed out that Cristiano's annual salary will not reach 200 million euros per season, as was reported recently.
