This is the condition of the United States to release the daughter of the founder of Huawei

The Wall Street Journal, citing informed sources, reported that the US government is in talks with Director Huawei Finance (Meng Wanguo) over a deal that could lead to it being sent back to China from Canada if it admits wrongdoing in the case against it.

Meng's lawyers have spoken to US Justice Department officials in recent weeks about entering into a so-called deferred prosecution agreement, the Wall Street Journal reported.

The report added that further discussions are scheduled this week with the aim of reaching an agreement before the end of the Trump administration.

The 47-year-old was arrested at Vancouver International Airport on December 1, 2018, at the request of the United States, as she was charged with bank fraud, according to the Arab portal for technical news.

Canada will hand over the daughter of the founder of Huawei to America, so what is waiting for her?

The Wall Street Journal said that under the agreement now being discussed, the United States would agree to defer or drop charges against Meng if she admitted some of the allegations against her.

She will also be able to return to China from Canada, where she is staying after being released on bail. The report added that Meng has so far resisted the proposed deal because she believes she has done nothing wrong.

The arrest of Meng, the daughter of Huawei founder Ren Zhengfei, marked an escalation of tensions between the United States and China and against one of China's most important tech companies.

The United States maintains that Huawei is a threat to national security, and is trying to persuade other countries to ban the company from 5G networks. Washington has also imposed a number of sanctions on Huawei, affecting its ability to purchase key components, such as chips.

A number of hearings have already taken place this year as part of Meng's extradition trial, which is expected to continue for several more months. A deal between Meng and the United States could put an end to it.
