Anchor, Nina Pachulky, committed suicide before her wedding... the happiest person we knew

American morning news anchor Nina Pachulky died suddenly and mysteriously weeks before her wedding, in what appeared to be a suicide, to the dismay of her family and fiancé.

Nina Pachulky, a 27-year-old WAOW announcer from Wisconsin, a former college basketball player, was found dead in her apartment Saturday.

Wisconsin State Police were called at 11 a.m. after worried friends called 911 to tell them she was threatening to kill herself.

9 WAOW said in a statement, "Nina Pachulky, our beloved morning announcer, passed away suddenly on Saturday. The entire team here at News 9 is totally devastated by the loss because we know a lot of others too.”
Citing Pachoulky's smile and personality, the station said, "She was such a kind person with a big heart and an infectious smile and we will miss her very much."
Pachulky joined the news station as a multimedia journalist in May 2017 and was promoted to anchor in February 2019, according to her website.

The death of the American anchor comes just six weeks before her marriage to her fiancé, Kyle Haas, who is a divorced father of two children 6 years older than her.
Although they lived together in the same house, Haas, 38, was not home at the time of his death.
In a touching Facebook post, Haas wrote: "I know she's no longer in pain and I'm grateful for that. Nina, I love you more than you can understand. You were my best friend and my whole world. I'm so sorry I couldn't save you."

Her older sister Caitlin Patchulke told the Tampa Bay Times that Patchulke, who grew up in Tampa and played basketball at the University of South Florida, was engaged and planning to marry at the time of her death.

"She was like a little ball of sunshine and her smile was enormous," Kaitlyn said. My sister was by far the happiest person I thought I knew.”
She continued, “She radiated love and positivity, cared a lot about expressing others, and always put others first. I think she did it at the cost of not caring for herself.”
