Despite the privileges, US President Joe Biden was forced, on Monday, to wait for moments in an embarrassing situation, before reaching his seat, at the funeral of the late Queen of Britain, Elizabeth II, who was buried at her last resting place amid an ancient ritual.
According to the British newspaper, The Guardian, Biden, the most powerful person in the world and the president of the United States, did not authorize him to change the funeral arrangements, which were carried out with great care and precision.
When the US President, accompanied by his wife, Jill, arrived at Westminster Abbey, he was forced to wait in the entrance for a few moments while the bearers of the George and Victoria crosses passed by.
The Victoria Cross, along with the George's Cross, is one of the highest military honours awarded in the United Kingdom, and therefore its holders are given priority entry.
As the holders of the medals first walked through the church, Biden, 79, and his wife, a university professor, 71, kept chatting with officials.
But Biden seemed to understand the situation, as he appeared smiling, while holding the hand of his wife, who wore black in mourning for Queen Elizabeth II.

After being able to enter, Biden and his wife sat in the fourteenth row inside the church, while there were about two thousand people, including 500 leaders, among kings, presidents, princes and prime ministers.
