Dior opens Haute Couture Fashion Week in black and white elegance

A look into the future from the past, from black and white, Dior inspired its new couture collection to open the Haute Couture Fashion Week,
In a surreal decor dominated by white and black squares, decorated with large cages and huge ceramic figurines for the human senses, Maria Grazia Chiuri, Creative Director of the House 73, presented a look, in the middle of the show, the appearance of the Dior bride wearing a “cap” decorated with roses and feathers.

The designs for this collection were inspired by Chiuri's surrealist movement at the beginning of the twentieth century. She said of her: "Surrealism talks about dreams, the subconscious, and the woman's body, which are very close to the world of fashion."
In black and white Chiuri dreamed and turned her dreams into reality in the form of layered gowns, iconic suits, polka dots or graphic coats, all characterized by exquisite craftsmanship in design and execution.
Some dresses took the form of a cage, while others were decorated with drawings of birds, while the feathers appeared clearly in the implementation of many looks, including the wedding dress.
