Muhammad Safi, Esraa's sister-in-law, who was commissioned by Esraa's family to speak to the press, had revealed stories from "another world" to justify Esraa's first injury and then transferred her to the hospital and then announced her death. Safi narrated that, after falling from the balcony and injuring her, Israa’s family “confirmed that the girl was affected by the jinn,” as “Israa flew out of her bed with fractures and beat one of her brothers,” according to his claim.
