Ten years after her husband left, who is Michelle Williams' new husband?

After all the hustle and bustle of her life, and after quietly hiding from the press for a long time, American actress Michelle Williams has married, telling Vanity Fair that she never gave up on finding love after the death of her partner Heath Ledger 10 years ago.
Williams, 37, who is a strong contender for an Oscar for her role in "Brokeback Mountain," told Vanity Fair magazine in an interview published on Thursday that she married American musician Phil Elverum in a private ceremony this month in New York.

She described her relationship with Elverum, whose first wife died of pancreatic cancer, as "very sacred and very special," according to Reuters.
Williams had a daughter Matilda with her late partner Ledger, but they ended a three-year romance a few months before his death in 2008 when he was 28 years old. Ledger died of a drug overdose.
"I've never lost faith in love," Williams said. "I always say to Matilda your dad love me before anyone thinks I'm talented or beautiful or elegant... You know I've never talked about any personal relationship but Phil is not like everyone else."

Williams spoke about how the media had been besieging her and her daughter for months after Ledger's death.
"I will never forget when I went to the post office and saw a sign hanging on the wall asking anyone with information about me and my daughter to call the number on the sign and I took it off," she told Vanity Fair.
