The Oscar statuette was stolen at the ceremony and among the crowd

There is always someone who gets upset by attending high-end happy parties, but if the matter comes to theft, this is what prompted everyone to be amazed, and among the masses, people and congratulations, there is some anger and envy from those who did not win any prize, so his greed for the prize pushed him to steal it from those who deserved it, as he stole a statue The Oscar, which was awarded to the actress Frances McDormand, on Sunday evening, during an evening held for the occasion by a man who took him from a table, and claimed that he was a winner, before being stopped by a photographer.
Frances McDormand, 60, was named best actress for her performance as a grieving and angry mother demanding an investigation into the rape and murder of her daughter in "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri" by Martin McDonagh.

During the gleeful Gouverns gala hosted by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences awarding the Oscar, which follows the awards ceremony, "a man grabbed the statue of Oscar Francis McDormand and carried it away," said Cara Buckley, a journalist in the "New York Times" who witnessed the accident.
She added that a photographer working for chef Wolfgang Bock stopped the man and took the statue from him before it disappeared into the crowd.

Buckley explained that the actress "put the statuette on the table while she was speaking", and it disappeared, adding that McDormand requested that the man not be arrested.
"We can confirm that there was an incident at the Governors party," a Los Angeles police spokesman told AFP. A person named Terry Bryant has been arrested for theft. The 47-year-old suspect was carrying an invitation to the evening.
Variety reported that a $20 bond was set for the man's release. The magazine specialized in cinema affairs published a video on Facebook showing - according to what it reported - the suspect carrying the golden statue, stressing that he won the award for the “musical category”, adding, “I won it this evening. it's mine".
The video, originally posted on the page of a person named Terry Bryant Gumatari, shows a man accepting the prize and letting curious people touch it.
This was McDormand's second Oscar, after being rewarded for her role in "Fargo" 21 years ago.
