The Rolling Stones ban Trump from using their music and threaten him with death
Trump steals the music of The Rolling Stones... and the band threatens to kill him
Legendary rock band The Rolling Stones have stepped up their rhetoric against US President Donald Trump, confirming that they will go to court if Trump insists on using their music in his election campaign.
And the statement published on the band's private account on Twitter stated that its legal team is cooperating with the music rights protection company BMI, with the aim of preventing US President Donald Trump from using any of her songs without her consent.
The statement says BMI has formally notified President Trump's campaign that any future use of the band's songs is a violation of its licensing agreement. "If Donald Trump persists and continues (using the songs), he will face a lawsuit for violating the ban and using the music without a license," he added.
It is noteworthy that several bands, earlier, refused to use Trump campaigns for their music, the last of which was the family of the late artist Tom Petty, who refused the Trump campaign to use one of the songs of the late rock star Petty, according to the same site “Deadline”.
