After research and examination, it became clear that the clip was synthesized using a computer program.

After dozens of misleading publications claimed that the video of an Omani plane burning in the air, and then landing safely by the skill of the Sudanese-Canadian pilot, Captain, Saleh Mahmoud Fathi Metwally, from New Halfa, who took all the passengers out safely, the Saudi Anti-Rumors Authority confirmed that the video circulated again titled “ An Omani plane burning in the air” is not true at all.

It is reported that the original version of the video was published on a YouTube channel in January 2020
