What is lazy eye and what are its symptoms?

New research warns that lazy eye may be more than just a vision problem. According to what was published by “The Mirror” newspaper.

It is known that “lazy eye” is a condition that affects millions around the world. It was previously described as a vision-related problem, but evidence reveals a deeper link between the condition known as “amblyopia” and a wide range of diseases and chronic conditions.

Neurological disorders have shown links to this condition, such as Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, and cardiovascular diseases.

Metabolic disorders such as diabetes may contribute to the development of lazy eye through systemic inflammation.

Common symptoms of lazy eye include blurred vision, double vision, or poor depth perception, causing difficulty reading, focusing, or tracking objects with one eye.

Persistent headaches, especially after visual tasks, and eye strain are also possible indicators of lazy eye.
