Scientists are still studying the secrets of Omicron, the new mutated from Corona that appeared in South Africa last November, and panic among many people around the world, especially after the World Health Organization warned of the severity and speed of its transmission despite the lack of serious symptoms compared to with other modifiers.

Perhaps the good news in this context is what a new study has revealed, indicating that Omicron sufferers may become more able to deal with the delta variable and other Corona mutations.

The study, conducted by scientists from South Africa, where the newest mutant from Covid 19 appeared, according to what was reported by the “New York Times” newspaper, indicated that people who have recovered from Omicron infection may be more able than others to ward off subsequent infections with the stronger delta variant of the Corona mutant.

Alex Segal, a virologist at the African Health Research Institute in Durban, South Africa, who led the new study, said: “Omicron is likely to kill the delta mutant, and that could be a good thing, because we are currently looking for something we can live with more easily. Any mutation that disrupts our work and our lives to a lesser degree than the previous variables.”

It is noteworthy that Segal and his colleagues conducted an experiment on only 13 patients infected with Omicron. Unsurprisingly, it was found that the patients' blood contained a high level of strong antibodies against Omicron, but those antibodies also proved effective against Delta.

At the same time, a number of independent scientists considered that the results of that study, although they were not proven by other sources, and were not published in a prestigious scientific journal yet, correspond to what is happening now in England, where Omicron began to grow and spread rapidly, overthrowing the delta that began to disappear to Far from the country.

It is noteworthy that the Omicron mutant, which first appeared in November on the brown continent, is highly contagious, but its symptoms are less severe than other mutant ones, according to what the World Health Organization has repeatedly stated.
