The house of Chanel celebrated the centenary of the launch of the iconic fragrance N°5, and an exceptional celebration with a diamond necklace weighing 55.55 carats inspired by the design of the perfume bottle.

This jewel is set around an octagonal emerald-cut diamond, and topped with a cabochon design for the perfume bottle, weighing exactly 55.55 carats. However, these jewelry and gemstones will not be for sale.

"This piece of art will remain as part of the heritage and history of the Maison's High Jewelery," said Frédéric Grangié, Head of Chanel's Jewelery and Watches Department at Place Vendôme.
