Dermatitis means inflammation of the skin that results in a red, scaly rash, in addition to itchy skin. There are two common types of it, atopic dermatitis (eczema) and contact dermatitis.

As for allergies, it is caused by perfumes, rubber (latex), cosmetics, and some ingredients in some medications. The treatment depends on the severity of the condition. Cold compresses can be used, and topical corticosteroid creams can be prescribed in the end. Of course, you should visit a doctor to diagnose you, determine the cause and prescribe the correct treatment.
