Emirati women, in the past, were a fighter, and today they excel and excel in the world

They say women are half of society, and I say women make up half of the right, but she educates the other half, as she is responsible for all of society. Some books and articles wronged Emirati women in the past, depressing them, and diminishing the great role they used to play.

If we go back to the pre-oil era, we will find that women played an active and vital role in various aspects of life despite the harsh economic and social conditions.
The woman was the one who made special decisions at home, received guests, raised children and took care of them. In addition to performing productive work such as milling crops, spinning, knitting and cooking, girls taught the Holy Qur’an - and raised livestock and fetched water from wells, in addition to their role in cultivating the land, watering plants, and making mats and baskets. Carpets, tents and boxes.

All these actions and perseverance indicate the woman's bearing the responsibility and her basic role in the family and the rise and development of society, as she was doing the work on behalf of the man in his absence and his cooperation in his presence.
Today, the son of the struggling Emirati woman has grown up, been armed with science and educated, to participate like her grandmothers in building the nation side by side with the man armed with will and challenge, so she entered the battlefield of life to compete with the man and stand by him in the various works of life.

Sheikh Zayed, may God have mercy on him, says
I myself have kept pace with the stages of development that women have witnessed in our country. I am also ready to provide more support to the women’s movement throughout the Emirates to advance their roles, in my belief in the importance of the gains that women will achieve in this country. I look forward with confidence that Emirati women will play their role in the advancement society, and to devote its efforts to building the homeland and the citizen within the framework of the teachings of our true religion, preserving our traditions, and being proud of our authentic heritage.

Therefore, we find women today proactive in all aspects of life as a doctor in a hospital, a teacher in a school, a director in one of the ministries, public or private institutions, an accountant, an announcer, and recently a minister.

This was the main reason for the formation of women's associations and clubs and the emergence of social development centers, the most important of which are 1- Sharjah Girls Club. 2- Umm Al Mu'minin Association in Ajman. 3- Social development in Fujairah and many others.

But what led to the high rate of women's participation in the labor market in the UAE and its recent emergence?
Obtaining a scientific degree first, in addition to the high salaries, and with the support and encouragement of the government for women to work, women now participate in the family income as well as men, and sometimes more.

Women have never had a reduced role. Throughout the successive periods of time, they have been performing a sublime and solid message, filled with sacrifices and work. And whoever says that a woman was once dependent or standing behind and in the shadow of a man, this is a false accusation and a grave injustice for what she presented. During all those years, a denial of its virtues and its role in bringing the state to what it has reached today in terms of civilization and progress.

On her day today, on Women’s Day, every year and every woman is good, every year and you are a thousand good, as a mother, as a wife, as a housewife, as a doctor and as a mentor, every year and you are the pillar of society and the reason for its development in every time and place.
